Cheryl Hayen, age 72 of New Hampton, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Cheryl Ann Hayen was born July 3, 1947, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Georgia (Stoltenburg) and Stanley Simpson. 
Cheryl was united in marriage to Clarence Hayen in California. 
To this union three children — John, Clint and Branda — were born.
The couple lived most of their lives in South Dakota before moving to New Hampton in 1990. 
Cheryl and Clarence spent 51 wonderful years together.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Clarence Hayen of New Hampton; two sons, John Hayen of New Hampton, and Clint Hayen of Elma; daughter, Branda (Joe) Hayen-Arens of Fredericksburg; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Courtney, Emily, Josh, Sam, Hunter, Lane, Lewey, Brandy, and Taylor; five great-grandchildren, Owen, Sawyer, Lily, Lucy, and Masie; and one brother, Gary (Kathy) Simpson of Whitewright, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Judy Isaacs.
