Chickasaw star breaks own school record

Lead Summary

To be honest, Eric Olson is never really all that surprised when Allison Nuss breaks a school record, yet he’ll be the first to admit he didn’t see Friday’s round of 70 at the Forest City Invitational coming.
“That’s a tough course, especially their back nine,” Olson said after Nuss broke her own 18-hole school record by four strokes at Bear Creek Golf Club. “If you put the ball in the wrong places back there, you’re going to be in serious trouble. But nothing really phases Allison. She just went out and played Allison Nuss golf.”
And it was good enough to give her yet another school mark and help the Chickasaws to a relatively easy victory at the nine-team tournament.
