Chickasaws to host softball tourney Saturday

The annual New Hampton Invitational will definitely have a local feel to it this year, as in addition to the host Chickasaws, Turkey Valley and Nashua-Plainfield are in the field for the tournament that will be held at Mikkelson Park on Saturday.
The tournament begins at 10 a.m. when  the Chickasaws play Turkey Valley while Nashua-Plainfield takes on Denver.
At noon, Nashua-Plainfield will face Turkey Valley and Denver and New Hampton will tangle, and the final games of the day are set to begin at 2 p.m., when the Chickasaws take on Nashua-Plainfield while the Trojans play Denver.
Tickets for the tournament are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
