For those who think summer is flying by, here’s the confirmation that you’re right: The New Hampton Municipal Pool season is winding down.The pool will have its last “official” day three weeks from Saturday and will close for the 2016 season on Sunday, Aug. 21, with the annual Doggie Swim.“We’ve had a really good summer so far,” said New Hampton Parks and Recreation Department Program Manager Tara Hackman said. “In a lot of ways, the weather has been perfect for us.”When it comes to swimming pools, warm, or even very warm, is good.
