IAHSAA releases football schedules

Although the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) just released high school football schedules for every team across the state on Thursday, New Hampton football coach Scott Frerichs isn’t too concerned about it.
“My approach is to make the best of our schedule. There is nothing we can do about it,” he said. “Let’s worry about what we can control and get ready to play each opponent.”
There are four new faces on the calendar this year for the Chickasaws, who are a part of District 4 in Class 2A: Decorah, North Fayette Valley, Oelwein and Independence.
