It’s a week of struggles for Huskies

Lead Summary

To say Nashua-Plainfield endured a tough volleyball week would be an understatement.    The Huskies not only dropped seven matches, but they had to deal with a key injury and the absence of another one of their senior leaders.    The Huskies dropped a Top of Iowa Conference East Division match with Central Springs on Tuesday and then played their first Saturday tournament without Britney Holthaus and Sydney Hansen, two four-year starters.    Holthaus was at a family wedding while Hansen rolled an ankle. And Miranda Crabtree and Shaylee Hansen were also both out of the lineup on Saturday at the Aplington-Parkersburg Invitational.”
