I’m writing this letter to express my support for the upcoming school bond election.  A yes vote for the new school is an investment in the future of our kids and our community.

I write this letter to encourage a YES vote on the upcoming school referendum.I have been a lifelong avid high school sports fan, attending many musical and stage productions as well.

Some have come out and asked why I'm against a school?

We have read with interest the letters to the editor, both pro and con, regarding the upcoming school bond referendum.

The upcoming school referendum urgently needs to pass. PLEASE get out on Feb. 7 and vote YES!Several of my fellow citizen taxpayers have written incisive, responsible letters in favor of the bond referendum before us on Feb. 7.

There was an OK crowd — around 100 or so people — in attendance last Tuesday when New Hampton Superintendent Jay Jurrens began the second of four informational meetings on the upcoming $19.415 million bond referendum voters will decide on Feb.

I have a unique perspective on the upcoming bond vote for the New Hampton schools to build a 5-8 addition to the existing high school.My wife is the high school principal, so by default, I am an active member of the school community.

The upcoming February school bond vote is our communities’ opportunity to position itself for the future.

Being now and having previously been an elected official, and having been married to one, I am very aware of being criticized in decision-making.Floating ideas or asking questions can result in unfavorable opinions and actions.As a representative

As a New Hampton High School graduate who has worked as a coach in the school district for the past 25 years and owns and operates a business in my hometown, I would really like to urge all residents of the school district to "vote yes"
