IPTV host is big hit with kids

Lead Summary

Kids from the Nashua area came out in full force Thursday afternoon to help win the Space Olympics at the Nashua Public Library with Dan Wardell from Iowa Public Television KIDS Clubhouse.Wardell is the host of the IPTV KIDS Clubhouse series and travels the state of Iowa on his Reading Road Trip.  This summer he will visit 75 libraries across the state and teach children about turning off the television, going outside to play, using their imaginations, reading a good book and eating healthy.  All children have the opportunity to earn a space orb of their own too.Nashua Public Library was picked as one of the Reading Road Trip stops out of 210 libraries who requested to be chosen this year. Library Director Heather Hackman put in the request last year since it was such a great success in 2014 when Wardell came to entertain and meet the children. For the complete story see the 7/7/2016 Nashua Reporter.
