New Hampton falls to Cyclones

Lead Summary

In order to pull off the upset over a 15-6 Denver team in their opening-round district game, the New Hampton boys basketball team needed to put together a solid performance at both ends of the court.
And while they were able to put up a respectable 61 points, they allocated a season-high 84 to the Cyclones, as Denver topped the Chickasaws by 23 points.
“Denver's really dangerous. They drive the ball really well, which leads to open shots,” NH coach Ryan Rausch said.
