K-9 Unit will come to town sometime in the next year

When officer Stephen Johnson worked as a reserve for the Winnebago County Sheriffs Department K-9 Unit back in 2012-2013 he knew that at some point in his career he wanted to be a handler of a K-9 officer.Since taking employment with the Nashua Police Department in 2014, Johnson’s goal has been to get a K-9 unit and he achieved his goal. Sometime early next year,  K-9 Officer Duke will join the Nashua Police Department. “We are very excited to have Duke come on board,” said Johnson. “He will definitely be an asset to our community.”For the complete story see the 12/8/2016 Nashua Reporter.
