Reloaded Chickasaws get out of the gate fast

Lead Summary

Ask two of the senior leaders of the New Hampton baseball team, and they’ll tell you opening week couldn’t have gone much better for the Chickasaws.
Put it this way, it appears New Hampton has done what it’s always done the past decade — it’s reloaded.
The Class 2A 10th-ranked Chickasaws beat Class 1A No. 8 South Winneshiek 4-3 in its season opener last Monday, beat perennial power Clear Lake 10-0 on Wednesday and continued their utter dominance of the New Hampton Invitational with a 10-0 win over Nashua-Plainfield and an 11-6 victory over Waterloo East on Saturday.
