Robert Gale Kahn dies at 92

Robert Gale Kahn, 92, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO died January 27, 2017 at the Northcare Hospice House. 
He was born May 26, 1924 in New Hampton, the son of William and Frances Kahn.
Mr. Kahn spent the majority of his working career in sales, where he sold various types of farm equipment.  Companies he worked for include New Idea and Badger Northland (where he was a District Sales Manager).  Gale enjoyed wood working and made many fine items in his workshop.  He also enjoyed golfing, hunting, traveling, reading, playing cards and board games and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
Gale married Teresa Ann Lammers on Valentine’s Day in 1952.  Mrs. Kahn preceded him in death on February 9, 2016.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, an infant baby and a brother, Neil Kahn. 
Survivors include 3 children, William (Pat) Kahn of Solon, Konnie Huisman of Columbia, Mo. and Kellie (Ruben) Obico of Kansas City, Mo. along with 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday , January 31, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Trenton, Mo. with Fr. Kevin Drew presiding.  The committal service was held at Resurrection North Cemetery.  Cremation and final care was provided by the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville.  Memorial contributions were made to the Platte Senior Services Meals on Wheels Program.
