Something to build on

Lead Summary

There are question marks, no doubt about it, but veteran New Hampton football coach Scott Frerichs liked a lot of the answers he saw when his Chickasaws traveled to Decorah this past Friday for their annual scrimmage with the Vikings.
“I liked the energy they came out with, and the physicality was good, too,” Frerichs said. “Obviously, there’s a lot of things we have to work on — you can’t be the same team in October that you are in August — but the boys showed us some nice things.”
Take the first “segment” of the scrimmage, a 12-minute quarter between the varsity teams.
