St. Joe’s has a quick shopper as its principal

They came in with a plan, a scouting report if you will, and boy oh boy, did it pay off for the St. Joseph Community School “Shopping Quartet.”
“We met at the store before we started and mapped out our route around the store,” St. Joe’s Principal Christina Carlton said. “We knew we didn’t have a lot of time, so we had to have a plan.”
A couple of months ago, Carlton won a unique auction item — a two-minute shopping spree at Fareway sponsored by First Citizens Bank and Russ and Angie Laures — and last Thursday night, she and her team that included Father Brian Dellaert, Connie Njus and Dorann Burgart raced through Fareway, loading their cart to the brim and then some.
