Status of high school spring sports remain up in the air

Here’s what New Hampton Activities Director Brad Schmitt knows when it comes to spring sports and the Coronavirus.
“Right now, we haven’t been told anything like they’re not going to happen,” he said last week. “I know there’s a lot of uncertainty, and honestly, all we can do is go day by day.”
The Chickasaws did find out they have one cancellation as Luther College, which was going to host the NEIC Indoor on March 24, announced last week that campus events “with large number of anticipated attendees in close proximity” will be canceled through at least Monday, April 13.
