Trojan boys claim Postville title

Nearly every one of the 11 schools at the Postville boys track meet last Thursday was larger than Turkey Valley. Only West Central and Kee High are smaller.    That didn't stop the Trojans from winning the meet, by 19 points over runner-up Waukon.    A third scoring threat for Turkey Valley emerged at the meet. While Cody Hackman and Wyatt Blazek return as team leaders this season — and scored 17 points apiece at Postville — Kyle Langreck matched the pair in points.    Langreck didn't win any events, like Hackman did in the 100-meter dash or Blazek did in the 200, but with his tie for second in the high jump, third-place points in the 110 high hurdles and fourth in the 400 hurdles, he duplicated the 17 points, with personal records in the hurdle events.  For all of the Turkey Valley results of the meet, please see the April 11 Tribune.
