Youth experience leads to HS success

Lead Summary

The recent success of the New Hampton high school boys’ and girls’ golf programs is no accident. It has come from countless hours of practice and commitment by each individual to continually improve their game, starting when they were in their youth.
“The more you play, the better you are going to get,” New Hampton high school golfer Morgan Nuss said. “Playing practice rounds and getting in tournaments will help you get the feel of the game and help you improve each and every day.”
Individuals from ages 9-18 had an opportunity to gain some of this tournament experience this past Friday, as New Hampton Golf and Country Club hosted a junior golf tournament.
