James Ferkin, age 96 of Clarkdale, Arizona, and formerly of New Hampton, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2022 at the Verde Valley Medical Center Emergency Department in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Rene Ardwin Reicks, age 60 of Lawler, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at The Waucoma Events Center with the Rev. Leslie White officiating.

Nancy Schlindwein, age 81 of Swisher and formerly of New Hampton, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Living Center West in Cedar Rapids.

Leslie Eugene Havens, age 66 of Plainfield and formerly of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at Waverly Health Center, surrounded by family.

Joyce Mary Schlindwein age 86 of Protivin, IA died Friday, November 4, 2022 at Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, IA surrounded by her family.

Paul Boedeker, age 91 of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.

Bruce Flatjord, age 66, of Jerico, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.

Rodney “Rod” Friedrich, age 67, of Alta Vista, IA passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Allen G. Balk, age 81, of Waucoma, IA passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Howard County Regional Health with his family by his side.

David Dean Drewelow, age 75 of New Hampton, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at his home.

Deborah “Debbie” Lynne Weidler, age 61 of New Hampton, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Anna Magdalene Halverson, age 77 of New Hampton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at her home.

William (Bill) Edward Busta, age 80 of New Hampton, IA passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at home after a long fight with cancer.
